Adult Leader Training

There are many opportunities for training, and which ones you take advantage of will depend on the role you expect to play, training you’ve taken from your Cub Scout leader days and perhaps the needs of the troop.

We take our commitment to our boys seriously, and require all adult leaders to take part in the training that is offered for their role. To that end, it is Troop 32’s official policy to reimburse our adult leaders for the cost of any official BSA course that they successfully complete.

Visit the Northwest Suburban Council’s Website at http://www.pathwaytoadventure.org/. Click on the Training tab and select Boy Scout Leader Training from the drop down list.  This site contains the latest information on our council's training requirements and classes.

Training requirements are position specific.  Youth Protection Training must be renewed every two years  Selected classes can be taken via the Boy Scout online learning site at myscouting.org
